The person we are seeking will initially assume the role of site Lean Manufacturing Manager, reporting dually to the current site Operations Director and the company’s VP of Integration and Continuous Improvement (CI). We expect that, as Lean Manufacturing Manager, our successful candidate will continue driving the unit’s Lean Six Sigma transformation initiatives within the context of the existing company-wide CI game plan. Additionally, however, this individual will also be involved in extensive on-the-job training, and we envision the first eight to 12 months of this person’s tenure as an intensive immersion in every aspect of what it takes to run this complex manufacturing operation. Candidate should expect to move into the Site Director’s role, or similar position elsewhere within the company, in about 18 to 24 months. Perhaps this is interesting, and you’d like to know more? |
